Day 1: Thursday, April 19th
Flight - Travel Day
Overnight flight from USA to Tel Aviv.


Day 2: Friday, April 20th:
Arrival - Jaffa - Tel Aviv
Upon arrival at Ben Gurion airport you will be met & assisted by a Coral Travel & Tours representative at the airport.  meet your guide and drive to Jaffa.  jaffa has been known in the bible as Joppa & is considered the world's oldest port & the place where the prophet Jonah set sail for Tarshish.  Jaffa is associated with the deed of Peter.  After a short drive through Tel Aviv, check into your hotel.  Dinner & overnight: Hotel in Tel Aviv

Day 3: Saturday, April 21st
Aphek - Caesarea - Mt. Carmel
After our Israeli breakfast, depart your hotel & visit Aphek.  Travel via the Sharon plain to Caesarea on the Sea.  Caesarea was the seat of the roman Procurator of the Judea in the time of Christ & the place St. Peter converted the centurion Cornelius (Acts 10:24.)  Explore the Roman Theater, the aqueduct & view the ruins of Roman, Byzantine & Crusader times.  Continue to Mt. Carmel, to the "Mukhraka," the site where Elijah challenged & defeated the 450 prophets of Baal (I Kings 18:20.)  Stop for Falafel lunch.  

Day 3 Continued
Megiddo - Sea of Galilee
Drive to Megiddo, the fortress city of King Solomon, later built upon by King Ahab.  The books of Daniel & Revelation will come alive as we study bout the final Battle of Armageddon (Revelation 16:14-19.)  Continue on to Mt. Precipice for an overview of Nazareth, the home of Joseph & Mary.  Deive by the city of Cana of Galilee, where Jesus performed his first miracle (John 2:1-11): turning jars of water into wine.  
Dinner & overnight: Kibbutz Guest House near the Sea of Galilee.

Day 4: Sunday, April 22nd
Around the Sea of Galilee
The day starts with a visit to Tabgha.  Continue on to Mount of Beatitudes, where Jesus delivered the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5:1-12.)  Visit Capernaum, the town Jesus made his home after leaving Nazareth.  Capernaum is the lave where Jesus recruited the first of His disciples (Matthew 4:13, Luke 4:31-37, Matthew 8:14-17, Mark 2:1-12, Matthew 8:5-13, Mark 5:21-43 & Matthew 11:23-24.)  Visit the excavation of the ancient synagogue & the house of St. Peter.  

Day 4 Continued
Around the Sea of Galilee
Take a wooden boat ride on the Sea of Galilee to Ein Gev.  For lunch you will have an opportunity to sample the St. Peter Fish.  You will also visit Kursi, the site of the miracle with the swine.  Visit Bethsaida & Chorazim.  Dinner & Overnight: Kibbutz Guest House near the Sea of Galilee.

Day 5: Monday, April 23rd
Golan Heights
After breakfast, drive to Tel Dan, an important biblical city & a breathtaking nature reserve.  The bible mentions the city a few times.  It is here that Peter made his confession of faith in Jesus (Matthew 16:13.)  From Dan to Beer Sheba.  Continue to the Banias, site of the ancient Caesarea Philippi.  You will have lunch in a kibbutz on the way.  


Day 5 Continued
Enjoy a panoramic view of the Golan Heights from Mt. Bental.  Continue on to the Olive Store in Qatzrin.  Drive around the city of Qatzrin.  End the day at the Jordan River with an opportunity to be baptized (optional.)  Dinner & Overnight: Kibbutz Guest House near the Sea of Galilee.

Day 6: Tuesday, April 24th
Bet She'an - Gideon Spring
After breakfast, leave the Sea of Galilee & visit Bet She'an where recent excavations have disclosed the impressive ruins of the country's largest city in the Roman & Byzantine periods which was destroyed by an earthquake in 749 CE.  Drive to Ein Harod (Gideon Spring) the site of Judge Gideon (Judges 7:1-25.)

Qumran - Dead Sea
The tour continues through the Jordan Valley past Jericho, believed to be the wold's oldest walled city.  This was the first city taken by Joshua when the Hebrews returned from Egypt- 'and the walls fell down.'  It was also the site of the Mount of Temptation (Mark 1:13.)  Drive along the shores of the Dead Sea to Qumran, where the 2000 year old Dead Sea Scrolls were found.  End the day at your hotel located on the shore of the Dead Sea.  Dinner & Overnight: Hotel at the Dead Sea.

Day 7: Wednesday, April 25th
Ein Gedi - Masada - Dead Sea
After breakfast, drive to Ein Gedi, an Oasis on the Dead Sea shore.  Near the 200 meter high waterfall is a cave where David had his famous meeting with King Saul (I Samuel 24:1-23.)  A walk around the reservation confirms that Ein Gedi is one of the most beautiful reservations in the world.

Masada - Dead Sea
Continue to Masada is the site of the most dramatic act in Jewish History.  Explore the ancient excavation of Herod's Palaces, the bathhouse, the storerooms, the ramp & the oldest synagogue in the world.  At Masada you will also visit the museum.  Dinner & Overnight: Hotel at the Dead Sea.

Day 8: Thursday, April 26th
Tel Sheva - Ella Valley - Bet Shemesh
Depart your hotel & drive to Beer Sheva to visit Tel Sheva.  Drive via the Lachish to the Ella Valley where David fought Goliath.  Continue to Bet Shemesh.  You will also visit Latrun, the armored museum.  

Day 8 Continued
Genesis Land - Jerusalem
Drive to Genesis Land where you will have Abraham's hospitality & experience a camel ride & dinner.  End your day in Jerusalem.  Enter the city of Jerusalem in the traditional way & view the city from Mt. Scopus.  Overnight: Hotel in Jerusalem

Day 9: Friday, April 27th
Jerusalem
That morning, drive to the western side of the city to visit the Israel Museum & the Holy Land Model.  Then ascend the Mount of Olives (Matthew 24:3, Luke 21:37) for a breathtaking panoramic view of the old city of Jerusalem.  Walk along the Palm Sunday way to the Garden of Gethsemane (Matthew 26:36-46, Luke 22:39-45, Mark 14:32-42) where Jesus spent the last night before he was arrested.  Drive along the "last way" to Mt. Zion.  Cross the Kidron Valley & see the Tombs of Absalom, Zachary & James.  Continue on to Emmaus.  Dinner & overnight: Hotel in Jerusalem.

Day 10: Saturday, April 28th
Jerusalem - Shepherds' Fields - Herodian
After breakfast, drive to Mount Zion & visit the House of the High Prient Caiphas & the CHurch of Peter in Gallicantu (Matthew 26:31-35.)  This is the plave where Peter denied the Lord 3 times.  Visit the Last Supper Room (Matthew 26:17-25) & King David's Tomb.  You then will visit Shepherds' Fields at Bethlehem & the Herodian.  Dinner & overnight: Hotel in Jerusalem.

Day 11: Sunday, April 29th
Jerusalem
The day stats at the Southern Steps & wall excavations, go across the street to the City of David where you will cisit Jeremiah's Cistern, Hezekiah's Tunnel & the Pool of Siloam.  From there we bus to the Jaffa Gate & visit the Jewish Quarter where we will have free time to shop & have lunch.  In the afternoon we will travel to Yad Vashem, the Holocaust Museum.  Dinner & overnight: Hotel in Jerusalem.

Day 12: Monday, April 30th
Jerusalem - Departure
The day starts with a visit to the Rabbinical Tunnel.  Then you will visit St. Anne's Church, which is a fine example of Crusader architecture, the Pools of Bethseda, the Pavement of the Stones & walk along the Way of the Cross.  Visit Calvary & end your visit with communion at the Garden Tomb.  Farewell dinner.
